Violas and Verbena in Mug - Watercolor Print
This was a little bouquet of wild pansies (violas) and verbena that I picked to cheer me in my studio. And then I thought that I might as well paint it! I'm particularly fond of the little upside-down viola at the front of the bouquet. A little reminder that it is important to have fun and be yourself.
Violas are a favorite garden flower of mine. I find them to be such cheerful and sweet flowers. I also have a sentimental attachment as one of my grandmothers was named Viola.
Unframed archival print
Paper Size: 8.5 x 11 inches (vertical sense)
Image Size: approximately 5 x 6½ inches
Materials: Epson Ultrachrome Inks on beautiful Fine Art Paper (100% cotton rag, 260 g/m², 19 mil)
I spend ages on my prints making sure that they are as close as possible to my original watercolors. I produce them in my studio on my Epson R1900 printer.
The print is on 8.5 x 11 inch paper with a generous border to ease framing. It would fit perfectly in a mat with an 8" x 10" opening or 8" x 10" frame if trimmed. (If you'd like, I can trim it to 8" x 10" for you. Just chose that option when you check out.)
In the second photo, I show it trimmed to 8 x 10 to fit in Ikea's beautiful Söndrum frame.
I will initial your print on the front and sign and date your print on its back. Your print will be mailed in a rigid envelope.
All monitors are different so the colors appearing on your screen may be slightly different than those of the print. Most often, the colors in your print will be more delicate than what is probably showing on your monitor.
