Payment
Prices in my shop are noted by default in US$🇺🇸. If you'd like to check out in Canadian dollars, please click on CAD$🇨🇦 in the currencies listed in the header and footer on the homepage.
You can pay securely with a credit card (Mastercard, Visa or American Express), Paypal or Apple Pay. The available options will show in your cart at checkout.
Shipping
🇨🇦 Canada - Free shipping in Canada and no taxes!
🇺🇸 US - Flat rate of $5 to US destinations
🌎 International - Flat rate of $8.00 for limited available international destinations.
Important note for 🇬🇧UK and 🇪🇺EU customers: Please note that currently I am not able to ship to the United Kingdom and countries within the European Union from this shop due to Brexit/VAT/packaging law changes. I am sorry and appreciate your past orders very much.

> Orders are currently shipped within one week of your purchase.
> Shipping Delay: In normal circumstances, mail takes about one week to arrive in Canadian destinations, one to two weeks to U.S. destinations and anywhere from one to five weeks for international destinations.
Please note that there can be further unexpected delivery delays caused by seasonal mail volume, adverse weather conditions, and the Covid pandemic. While I will ship as promptly as possible, it may take longer than usual for your order to arrive. Thank you for your support and patience.

> Packages are sent from Canada by Canada Post either by Letter-Post (domestic) or Small Packet-Air (USA + international) or by USPS (via Chit Chats).
> Please note that tracking is not available with most of these standard services. If you would like tracking, please contact me and I can quote you on additional fees.
Taxes & Customs Fees
Taxes (in Canada): As I am classified as a micro business, I am exempt from charging federal or provincial taxes on orders originating in Canada. Hello, savings!
Taxes & Customs Fees (elsewhere): If you are ordering from outside of Canada, I do not charge tax but it is possible that you will be required to pay tax and/or customs fees when your package is delivered according to the regulations and practices of your own country. This is your responsibility.

I want my art to make me proud and you happy. It's so important to me!
I describe my products in detail on my website and I make every effort to ensure that they are in a flawless state when they leave my studio as I want you to be satisfied. I pack very carefully using sturdy mailers and feel that your order should arrive in perfect condition.

If ever there is something wrong with your order, please contact me immediately so I can find a way to make it right. I will be happy to find a solution!
If a return is necessary, returns are accepted within 30 days of your order's delivery date. (Please note that returns are not accepted for custom orders.) Contact me at trowelandpaintbrush@gmail.com for permission to return the item. Shipping fees will not be refunded. Return your item in its original or similarly secure packaging to: Kathleen Maunder, Trowel and Paintbrush (address provided upon request) in Canada. I will contact you when the item has been received and credit you for the product price within 72 hours.
Commissions/Custom Orders
My prices for custom paintings range from approximately $100 to $800 depending on their size and complexity as well as the time demands of the project. I am not always able to accept custom requests. Please note that custom orders require full payment in advance.

I established my art business in 1993 and have been selling online since 2011.
My business is a sole-proprietorship and has been registered in Quebec since 1993 under the names 'Florescence' and, more recently, 'Trowel and Paintbrush' ('Truelle et Pinceau').

Privacy
I respect your privacy and will not sell or distribute your name, email, shipping address or any other personal information. Canada Post requires that I note your phone number on certain packages and customs forms but I will never use it for marketing purposes.

All paintings and photos in this shop are ©Kathleen Maunder and are protected under copyright laws. Aside from being illegal, copying art breaks artists' hearts. Please do not copy or steal art. Sharing on social media is fine and most welcome if you link back to the source. Also, please note that reproduction rights do not transfer with purchase.
