Lake Watercolor Print: Inuksuk

$25.00 USD

This print in based on a watercolor painting I did of a scene I saw when my family hiked around a lovely trail in the Muskoka region of Ontario, Canada this past summer.

Someone had made an inuksuk (also spelled inukshuk), a stacked-stone navigational landmark with a human form, on the shore just off the trail we were walking on. These stone landmarks originated with the Inuit and other people who inhabit the Arctic region of North America.

I love the way it looks like the inuksuk is admiring the landscape. Gorgeous tones of turquoise and aqua blue.

Unframed archival print
Paper Size: 8 x 10 inches
Image Size: approximately 4¾ x 6¾ inches

The image has been sized to fit perfectly in a 8 x 10 inch mat with a 5 x 7 inch opening.
