Crocus Bulb Watercolor Painting - Yellow
An original botanical watercolor painting of yellow crocuses. I dug this bulb from my garden and painted it in my studio. Painting a natural subject closely like this is a wonderful way to notice and appreciate all of its details. I love that one bulb can produce a tiny bouquet of crocus blooms. I also loved observing and painting the bulb's delicate roots.
This original watercolor is painted with professional-grade Winsor and Newton paints on exquisite Twinrocker handmade watercolor paper. This is beautiful paper that is handmade by a family-run mill in Indiana.

Because of the detailed, delicate way I paint, I can spend hours and often days on one small painting.
I will initial the painting on the front and sign and date your painting on its back. (If you prefer me to sign it on the front, just let me know at the time of your order.)
It would be a beautiful companion with my purple crocus original. I've shown them side by side in the last photo.
I will mail your painting in a sturdy, rigid kraft envelope.
Most often, the colours in your painting will be more delicate than what is likely showing on your monitor.
