Viburnum Leaves and Berries Note Cards
This set of five cards is based on a watercolor painting I did of the leaves and berries of a beautiful shrub called highbush cranberry (viburnum trilobum). In my painting, I tried to capture the luster of the red-orange berries and the brick red, rust and green tones of the autumn leaves. I love painting leaves!
I grow this shrub in my garden but it also can be found wild in nearby forests. Often, the berries stay on the shrub long past when the leaves have fallen. They are particularly beautiful when covered by frost or a thin dusting of snow but, more often than not, the birds will eat them first.
Lovely note cards for a nature lover or gardener.
I have printed my image on luxurious, Italian watercolor paper. The paper is lovely and thick and has a beautiful texture.
I have cut, printed, scored and folded your cards for you. (There is a lot of 'me' in the preparation of these cards!)
The cards are blank inside, so they are ready for your personal message.
