Flowers for Change - Watercolor Bookmark
I created this 'Flowers for Change' bouquet in memory of George Floyd and too many others lost to racial intolerance and injustice. This painting is a way of using my art to show my support and participate in the worldwide Black Lives Matter protests and movement.
For the month of July, I will donate $1 from each 'Flowers for Change' bookmark purchase, to the Black Solidarity Fund. This fund unites over 50 Black community organizations across Canada.
I chose each flower in this delicate and detailed watercolor bouquet according to their traditional floral meaning and tried to create a bouquet full of strength, significance and hope.
The 'Flowers for Change' image is also available on a print or note cards, also created as fundraisers.
Perfect for you or your favorite bookworm. Bookmarks are also wonderful gifts for bookclub members.
